Biedronka will open 11 new stores across Poland, the chain said. Most of them are located in small towns. The openings of the new and renovated stores are scheduled for November 30 and December 1 and 2.

The new outlets were established in the towns of Tarnów, Tuchów (Małopolskie Voivodeship), Jednorożec (Mazowieckie Voivodeship), Ogrodniczki (Podlaskie Voivodeship), Bielawa (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship), Wrocław, Kowalów (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship), Myślenice (Małopolskie Voivodeship) and Parowa (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship), as well as in Kraków and Katowice. After a short renovation, modernized Biedronka stores in Brusy (Pomorskie voivodeship), Międzyzdroje and Lublin will also be available to customers again, the company announced.

"The openings of new stores are always a reason for us to be happy. The new locations of the outlets allow our customers even easier access to the items they need. This is especially important, especially during the Christmas preparations. The newly opened and renovated stores also mean dozens of additional jobs," said Biedronka network's Macroregion South operations director Pawel Wlodarczyk.

At the end of September, the Biedronka chain had 3,304 outlets.
