The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will invest EUR 40 million in the capital of the Polish holding company Rex Concepts, to support its expansion by opening new quick-service restaurants in Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic. The investment would give the EBRD a 16.7% stake in the company.

Recently, the Burger King restaurant chain, now with a new franchisee, continued its expansion on the Romanian market, with a new location. Thus, Burger King opens its second restaurant in the city, inside Mall Moldova.

The first Burger King restaurant was inaugurated in Militari Fashion House, Bucharest. This is the first Drive-Thru restaurant in Bucharest.
