C&A opens new store in Bucharest Mall

The fashion retailer C&A opens a new store on the local market, in Bucharest Mall. This is the 10th C&A store in Bucharest and the 56th in Romania.

The company registered in Romania, in 2023, business of RON 507.7 million, slightly down, by 4 percent compared to 2022, and a loss of RON 22.7 million, from a net profit of RON 36.9 million in the previous year.

Last year it was announced that C&A wants to expand in the coming years, the growth plans focus especially on Romania, Poland and Italy, and new stores will also be opened next year in Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris and Milan. "We want to open 100 new stores in Europe in the next three years," said Carsten Horn, director of the C&A division in Germany.

C&A currently operates 1,300 stores in 17 countries, with nearly 400 units in Germany.
