Dragoș Vasile buys land at the former Muntenia oil factory

The businessman Dragoș Vasile bought at auction the land of the former Muntenia oil factory, foreclosed for a debt to CEC Bank of the former owner.

Dragoș Vasile has awarded his 5.7-hectare land of the former Muntenia oil factory, located near the central park Carol in Bucharest, at the starting price of the auction, EUR 22 million. The price including VAT amounts to EUR 26.3 million, making it one of the biggest land deals in recent years.

The Vasile family companies, Advanced Technologies and Vonino Labs, had to recover EUR 4 million from the former owner of the land, the City Bistro Management company.
