Greenman Poland, asset manager and developer of retail assets formerly known as Newbridge Poland, has announce the appointment of Barbara Wojdełko as its CEO following Greenman Group’s acquisition of the business.

In her role as CEO, Barbara will be responsible for managing Greenman Poland’s 15-strong team. Utilising their extensive experience in the retail real estate sector, Barbara will lead the team as Greenman Poland expands further into Poland and the broader CEE region. She will be based in Warsaw and will report to Johnnie Wilkinson, CEO of Greenman Group.

Wojdełko will also lead Greenman Poland’s social and sustainability initiatives, which will be consistent with Greenman Group’s ESG and net zero plan. The team will continue to ensure that the local communities surrounding Greenman Poland’s retail assets benefit from the business’s operations.

Prior to her appointment as CEO of Greenman Poland, Barbara was managing partner of Newbridge Poland Sp. z o.o. and had overlooked the company’s finance, operations and acquisitions since 2015. She has over a decade’s worth of real estate experience and was previously an analyst for a warehouse developer active in the CEE region. She is also a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and holds a magister degree in Corporate Finance, in addition to being an ACCA affiliate.

Regarding her appointment, Barbara commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Greenman Group as the CEO of Greenman Poland at a time when such exciting expansion is underway. This is a great opportunity for the business to evolve and I’m looking forward to driving this forward with further acquisitions for the Greenman European Supermarket fund, amongst other European funds and mandates.”
