Ioana Niculeasa is a seasoned lawyer with 23 years of professional experience, Head of the Real Estate practice at Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen, having been a partner of the firm since 2009. During her career, she has coordinated teams assisting investment funds, corporate investors, and financial institutions in relation to large-scale projects that have shaped the Romanian real estate market.

Ioana has outstanding experience in real estate projects involving the full spectrum of assets from office buildings and shopping centres to residential, logistic, and industrial developments. Ioana advises both foreign and Romanian clients on the sale, acquisition and development of real estate projects, concession, and construction contracts (governed by domestic legislation as well as FIDIC or FIDIC-based agreements), complex lease agreements, general corporate matters in the real estate industry, permitting matters, joint ventures, matters related to distressed assets and insolvency proceedings, as well as on agricultural investments. She is a regular speaker at national and international events dedicated to the real estate sector.

Ioana has consistently been acknowledged as a first-class lawyer by reputed international legal guides, including by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 EMEA.
