“The appointment of Javier as CFO of the InPost Group is an important decision for our international development. He is an experienced and versatile professional who has previously held managerial positions in finance in Poland and abroad. He has extensive experience in working with international teams, including on the Polish market as CFO Jerónimo Martins. In addition, Javier has a wealth of experience in retail - both in the food and fashion segment, as well as in the industry. His experience will allow him to play an important role in the implementation of the InPost strategy and strengthening our leading position on the European market of logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry," said Rafał Brzoska, Founder and President of InPost.

Javier van Engelen has held many management roles in international companies from the manufacturing, FMCG, retail or pharmaceutical industries. He worked in listed companies, owners, family and private equity. Recently, he was a CFO and a member of the management board at Signify. Previously, there was CFO in Jerónimo Martins and Grupo Telepizza. He also has experience in the field of production and mergers and acquisitions, gained in earlier stages of his career at Procter & Gamble, and later in the roles of CFOs in AstraZeneca and Triumph International.

“This is a special time to join the InPost Group. After the huge success of the business model in Poland, further successful internationalization should make the InPost Group the number one among European e-commerce logistics service providers. I am glad that I will be able to contribute to the next success of the Group," added InPost Group CFO Javier van Engelen.
