Following CPIPG's setting of group-wide environmental targets, including a commitment to reduce greenhouse gas ("GHG") emissions intensity by 32.4% by 2030 across all emission bands 1-3, the company's Warsaw office has strengthened the team with an ESG specialist. The newly created position of Sustainability and Innovations Manager has been filled by Michal Litewnicki.

Michal Litewnicki boasts more than 12 years of experience in sustainability, including knowledge of issues related to reducing carbon emissions, as well as energy and water consumption. He was also responsible for reporting on non-financial factors (ESG metrics) at the corporate level. He joined the CPI Property Group team from SKANSKA CE, where he held the position of Environment and Green Business Manager. Previously, as Project Manager and Senior Sustainability Consultant, he was associated with Uponor Sp. z o.o. and WSP Poland, among others. He also served as an independent consultant in the field of sustainable development for Go4Energy and NRG Consulting, among others. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Civil Engineering (specialization in Internal Environmental Engineering) at Aalborg University in Denmark. He gained practical experience in his university specialization in London, working as a Mechanical Engineer at Blyth+Blyth Consulting Engineers.

"Driving sustainability policies strongly determines the operational activities of the entire CPIPG group. Setting new targets, including - in addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions - switching to buying energy from renewable sources by 2024, strengthening the green certification of owned assets and reducing the amount of waste given away are our main tasks. I am convinced that Michal's experience and independence in implementing projects will decisively strengthen our competencies, which will allow us to achieve the set goals in the Polish market." - comments Cezary Kopij, Technical Director at CPI Property Group Poland.
