MDC2 has announced that Oriflame Holding AG, the global cosmetics brand, will lease 25,000 square meters at MDC2 Park Łódź South. The new distribution centre is set to begin operations in early 2025.

The strategically located facility, near the A1 motorway and other major transport routes, will streamline Oriflame’s distribution across Poland and Europe. This move is part of Oriflame’s effort to enhance its logistics operations and strengthen its market position. The space will be tailored to the company’s storage and distribution needs.

Oriflame’s decision to relocate aligns with its sustainability goals, as MDC2 Park Łódź South meets high environmental standards. The park features photovoltaic-ready roofs, enhanced insulation, and electric vehicle chargers, contributing to a CO2 footprint that is significantly lower than national and global averages.

“We are excited to open our new logistics centre at MDC2 Park Łódź South, which aligns with our sustainability and growth objectives,” said Tomasz Gomułka, Senior Director at Oriflame. “This facility will enable us to better serve our consultants and customers across Europe.”

MDC2 Park Łódź South, developed by MDC2 and owned by Fortress Real Estate Investments Limited, will eventually cover over 80,000 square meters, offering sustainable logistics solutions for various tenants, including cosmetics retailer Notino.

“We’re proud that Oriflame has chosen our park for its distribution hub,” said Adrian Winiarek, Development Director at MDC2. “Our modern, eco-friendly infrastructure perfectly supports Oriflame’s commitment to environmental responsibility.”
