Premier Energy has purchased a 34.5 MW wind farm from Enercon

Enercon GmbH, the largest German manufacturer of wind turbines, has successfully completed the full sale of its stake in Ecoenergia SRL, which operates a wind farm with a capacity of 34.5 MW in Romania. Wolf Theiss Law Firm brokered the transaction.

The buyer is Premier Energy, a company operating in the gas distribution and supply market, controlled by the Czech investment fund Emma Capital, owned by one of the richest businessmen in the Czech Republic, Jiri Smec.

The transaction was signed on December 17, 2021 and obtained the decision approving the takeover of the sole control by the Romanian Competition Council in January 2022.
