The French group Saint-Gobain, active in the production of construction materials, exceeded 2,000 employees in 2022, due to the expansion of its production capacities on the local market. Last year, the group also integrated the operations and employees of Duraziv, a company it took over from the entrepreneur Daniel Guzu.

Financially, Saint-Gobain Romania ended 2022 with a turnover of over RON 2 billion, an increase compared to the previous year. The advance came both as a result of inflation, which led to a sequential increase in prices determined by the increase in the costs of energy and raw materials, and as a result of the increase in production capacities.
