Signify is relocating its existing headquarters in Lodz. The new office, located in the city center in the Hi Piotrkowska complex, has an area of over 2,800 sqm. The tenant was assisted in the signing of the contract and the process of arranging the new office by the consulting firm CBRE.

"Signify Financial Center's new office in Lodz is first and foremost an investment in our employees. When choosing the location, we were guided by comfort, security and the best working conditions. We also looked for a place with energy-saving solutions and environmentally friendly technologies, that is, a place in line with our strategy," says Małgorzata Janiszewska, director of Signify Financial Center.

Signify is a global leader in lighting for professionals and consumers, including in the lighting Internet of Things. Philips-branded products, Interact integrated lighting systems, and services based on collected data, deliver business value and transform lives in homes, buildings and public places around the world. In 2021. Signify worldwide reported sales of €6.9 billion. The group has about 37,000 employees in 70 countries.

The company will open its European Settlement Center in the Hi Piotrkowska complex, where more than 200 people will work. The process of selecting Signify's headquarters was advised by CBRE, which will also be responsible for the architecture of the new office. The first employees will arrive there in February 2023.

"From the very beginning, the Hi Piotrkowska complex was designed to be a showcase for the center of Łódź and to create new business functions here. That's why we are pleased that a brand like Signify has chosen our building as the location of its office. For us, this is another confirmation of the attractiveness of our investment, its unique location and the high quality of the services provided," says Justyna Druzynska, chief operating officer for office space at Master Management Group.

Hi Piotrkowska is a mixed-use complex developed in the very center of Łódź. The development consists of two buildings with a total of 21,000 sqm of class A+ office space and 5,000 sqm of retail and service space. The first building in the complex is a 20-story tower with a height of 82 meters, which has earned the status of the tallest office building in Lodz. The second, five-story building adjoins the frontage of Piotrkowska Street and creates an intimate office space, combined with a catering offer on the first floor. Complementing Hi Piotrkowska's function is the internationally recognized Hampton by Hilton hotel with 149 rooms and three conference rooms. The Hi Piotrkowska complex was built right at the intersection of the city's main thoroughfares. Hi Piotrkowska received an Excellent rating under the BREEAM International New Construction certification system for the Post Construction phase.

" In the first six months of this year, 31.6 thousand square meters of modern office space were leased in Lodz, an increase of more than 280 percent compared to the same period last year. We can clearly see an increase in tenant activity, especially in the newest A-class buildings. This was the kind of space we were looking for for our client, who, for the sake of his employees, counted on a well-connected office with ample food and service facilities. Security aspects were also important for Signify," says Marta Pyziak, deputy director in CBRE's office space department in Lodz, who was involved in the process of selecting a new office for Signify.
