The Allianz Group, present on the Romanian market through the Allianz-Ţiriac insurance company, ended the first half of 2022 with total revenues of EUR 81.2 billion, up 7.2 percent compared to the first six months of 2021, while the operating profit reached EUR 6.7 billion, only 1.2 percent more than in S1/2021, according to the information provided by the company.

"Allianz ended another quarter with a robust financial performance, supported by strong growth in the general insurance business. The operating profit and the solvency ratio of the group proved resistant to the high volatility and the weakened fundamental economic environment. We are well positioned to manage the impact of high inflation and economic pressures that are evident in Europe", said Oliver Bate, CEO of the Allianz group.
