Entrepreneurs Daniel Florescu and Valentin Motoc, owners of the Admiral Company group, one of the most important operators of gambling halls in the region of Moldova, bought the Electrica building in the center of Pitești from the RC Europe group, owned by entrepreneurs Miroslav Hartman and Jan Prokop, former executives of the German retailer Lidl.

The traded building, known in Pitesti as the Electrica building and renamed Central, entered the RC Europe portfolio in 2017 and has a leasable area of 2,540 sqm. The building's tenants include Textron Fleet Management, RCS & RDS, Paralela 45 Publishing and Global LEC.

"We were approached with the acquisition offer, and the Czech shareholders decided to invest in another profitable projects. There is still interest in the office sector, but only if we identify any opportunities in Bucharest and buildings with tenants. We still keep the Central office buildings in Drobeta and Slatina in our portfolio. Our current focus is retail parks," said Andrei Rați, country manager of RC Europe for Romania.
