European developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics real estate VGP acquired a new tenant, to whom it handed over newly completed premises in VGP Park Kladno in the industrial zone Kladno-východ. CARGO CARE, a provider of transport and logistics services, has leased roughly a third of the space in Hall A – namely, a total of 5,286 sqm of warehouse and office space. The new hall was realized in the BREEAM Very Good green certification level. VGP Park Kladno is currently 100% occupied.

"This new lease confirms to us that tenant demand for logistics properties remains strong, especially in the vicinity of the capital city of Prague. We currently have 15 logistics parks implemented or currently under construction in the Czech Republic. We always emphasize location and transport accessibility - and VGP Park Kladno is proof of this: it has an excellent location - just one kilometer from the city center, at the same time only 11 km from Václav Havel International Airport and 15 km from Prague," comments David Plzák, VGP Country Manager for the Czech Republic.

CARGO CARE, focused on transport and logistics services, was founded in 2011. Its main activities include domestic distribution, international freight transport and warehousing. The core activity of the company is road truck transport, especially within the Czech Republic, where it provides pallet and parcel distribution. In international transport, it operates mainly in the Benelux and the German Ruhr, where it implements mainly non-full-load shipments and collection lines in cooperation with important partners there.

VGP Park Kladno is a recently completed complex with premises suitable for industrial, logistic and commercial activities. It has a total leasable area of more than 27,000 sqm. The main advantages of the location include the availability of labor in the area, proximity to the international airport and transport accessibility. The park is connected to road No. 61 in the immediate vicinity of the D7 highway connecting Prague with Kladno (exit 7). Kladno is also known for its industrial tradition and high-quality workforce. It is the largest city in the region, in which more than 110,000 inhabitants live together with the adjacent catchment areas. Other tenants include Kvadrat Czech Republic and Damco Czech Republic.
