The German retailer TEDi, specialized in the sale of non-food products, opens a new store in Romania, in the Supernova shopping center in Pitesti. Retailer TEDi now has a local network of 42 stores.

The company entered the Romanian market in 2022.

TEDi is a non-food retailer founded in Dortmund in 2004, one of the largest in global trade, and currently operates more than 3,000 stores in 15 European countries. The company is owned by the German group HH. In 2021, the European Commission approved the transaction by which HH took over Tengelmann's stake in TEDi, giving him in exchange the shares held in the retailer Kik, also present in Romania.
